We are incredibly ambitious about what we want to deliver as a business and to add value to the BID area over our first five-year term.

"Leeds is a key player in the Northern Powerhouse and with businesses continuing to thrive and contribute to the city centre’ and wider economy."

So says Vicki Freestone who has been appointed Business Executive at LeedsBID (Leeds Business Improvement District).

The 38-year-old will be responsible for liaising with the professional services community within the BID area and working with them to identify and implement projects and initiatives which benefit the office sector levy payers. Vicki will be a dedicated point of contact to ensure the BID adds value to Leeds prime office quarter.

Vicki has worked in and around Leeds over the past 12 years. She has over 16 years planning experience along with extensive experience in negotiating complex planning consents and delivering key projects within Leeds city centre, and is an active member of the Leeds business network, including setting up her own network for parents working in the property industry.

Martin Dickson Head of Marketing, Brand and Communications at LeedsBID said that Vicki’s appointment marked another exciting step forward for LeedsBID.

Vicki has strong connections within the office sector, which equates to over 40% of our levy paying businesses, and a track record of delivering landmark projects in the city. She will be a great asset for the BID and levy paying businesses within the office sector and will assist in the delivery of projects which align with these needs in conjunction with the LeedsBID business plan”

Vicki said upon her appointment: "Leeds has come a long way since I started my career here over a decade ago and I’m looking forward to working for LeedsBID which has been such a catalyst for further improvement in the city centre over the past two years.

Over the next few months I will be out and about in the Leeds office quarter as I meet with our levy payers to find out more about business needs, interests and areas of concern. If you see me please feel free to stop me for a chat or book an appointment with me."

Vicki will be joining the team on a part-time basis working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. If you would like to arrange a meeting with her, she is contactable via the details below.
