IT isn’t quite beside the seaside but LeedsBID is helping to promote the city to an international audience on the banks of the Mersey.

A series of beach huts have been erected in Liverpool as part of the International Business Festival (IBF) 2016, with five dedicated to helping promote the creativity of the North to national and international delegates in attendance.

The Leeds beach hut is among 20 located between the entrances to the Exhibition Centre and the Albert Dock, showcasing the best in art, culture, design, DIY enterprise, and digital technology during IFB2016. Five have been allocated to organisations from the Northern Powerhouse cities, with Hull, Sheffield, Newcastle and Manchester, alongside Leeds.

LeedsBID in collaboration with The City Talking & Visit Leeds are celebrating the creative scene of the city, promoting the innovative and diverse talent the city has to offer. The beach hut has been decorated with a unique design by Leeds artist Nicolas Dixon.

The huts are in situ for the duration of the festival until 3rd July.
