As a business-led partnership, consultation was key in identifying a set of agreed business priorities, addressing core themes to be the focus of the work of LeedsBID during its first five years:
Aiming high to maintain and enhance the quality of provision and services across the city
Raising the profile of the city from both a consumer and corporate prospective
Adding value by leading coordinated investment and management, enhancing provision and creating new
The Leeds Welcome – delivering projects and initiatives to raise the game for the physical and digital welcome to the city including improving the access points to the city e.g. Leeds Station; creating a branded welcome to the city – Welcome Ambassadors; developing a distinctive welcome through a strong consumer and corporate brand for the city.
The Leeds Experience – a coordinated programme of events and activity to maximise investment and footfall and animating the streets of the city centre.
The Leeds Business Voice – sharpening the focus of the city’s business voice, promoting excellence and aiding aspirations and helping retain talents and skills.
