Beasts return bigger and better
A herd of animatronic giant dinosaurs returned to roam Leeds city centre in Summer 2021.
Featuring 13 life-size beasts including a diplodocus the length of two buses, a T-Rex taller than a house, a trio of Pteranodons flying from the rooftops and the world’s first Yorkshiresaurus, the seven week trail provided an animating free activity for all the family.
A ground breaking project bringing a host of city centre partners together to support the city’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and welcome people back to safely enjoy events and activities.

“This event would not have been possible without the strong collaborative spirit we have in Leeds. Businesses and organisations working with the Business Improvement District to make new events happen that are bigger and more ambitious than before.”— Andrew Cooper
