Bringing the Summer to the office sector

Bringing the Summer to the office sector

The west end of the city centre is an economic powerhouse that has sprung back to life as workers have finally been able to return, reconnect and bring their vital energy back into Leeds!

To help bring some energy, colour and old-fashioned fun to that return, get ready to enjoy summer lunchtimes like never before. So roll-up, roll-up from June 21st and look out for the LeedsBID summer roadshow which will be touring three key west end locations including Wellington Place, Sovereign Square and Central Square between 12-2pm, Tues-Thurs, across six glorious summer weeks (with hopefully lots of glorious sunshine too). If you’re looking for a lunch break with a difference, then look no further.

Here’s a flavour of what to expect, all free, all simply there to enjoy for everyone.

Each day from 12 noon, the bespoke Summer Roadshow stage will pop up and appear in one of the locations for a three day run, but don’t worry each location will get two visits over the six weeks. An amazing compere will intro the short performances including music, comedy and ‘wildcard’ entertainment which you need to be there to see, enjoy, clap, cheer, whoop and holler!

There will be plenty of the LeedsBID deckchairs to provide all the comfort you need to enjoy this brilliant free-show.

To add to the British summertime fun and feel, around the brilliant stage-show, you’ll also be able to enjoy all the fun of the fair, with a host of games like  High Striker, Giant Jenga and Connect 4, Coconut Shy, Seaside photo frame, Volleyball/Badminton net, Cornhole.

And as if that wasn’t enough, every day there will also be free ice-cream and very special sticks of rock too.

June 21st isn’t that far away and we can’t wait to see you down at the Summer Roadshow, to have some fun but also to enjoy the vibrancy and energy of the city centre altogether again!

The roadshow will be taking place on set days from 12pm-2pm:

  • Wellington Place – 21-23 June & 12-14 July
  • Central Square – 28-30 June & 19-21 July
  • Sovereign Square – 5-7 July & 26-28 July
