Dear Leeds is back on Briggate as part of the illuminating attractions across the city centre for Light Night 2021.
The eye-catching neon lyrical messaging turns the words of local creative writer Kate Ryrie into two-tone art, bringing warmth and colour to the city’s main pedestrianised walkway, with messages of hope and solidarity.
This year people passing beneath can enjoy more of the personal, uplifting and fun greetings as they are extended to the southern half of Briggate and are remaining in situ from 14th October-17th January 2022.
Light Night Leeds 2021 sees 10 exciting zones to explore over the evenings of Thursday 14th October-Friday 15th October from 6.30-10.30pm, with some of Leeds’s most recognisable indoor and outdoor spaces transformed by spectacular artworks and captivating performances by local, national and international artists.
