LeedsBID has unveiled its ambitious Business Plan for 2025-2030.

Following a launch event held at The Queens Hotel where the BID’s plans for the next five years were shared with an audience of city centre businesses, LeedsBID Chapter 3 2025-2030 outlines the priorities for its Third Term.

The event marked just under a month until the LeedsBID’s ballot opens on 11th October, where levy paying businesses will have the opportunity to vote for LeedsBID to continue its work for another five years.

LeedsBID’s plans for Chapter 3 focus its work to ensure Leeds is a Welcoming , Inspirational and Ambitious city.

A major component of the plan, in recognition of the city’s growth, is a proposed extension to the BID boundary, ensuring it covers key areas from the ring road in the north to Crown Point Road in the south, and from Wellington Street and Holbeck in the west to Quarry Hill and Leeds Dock in the east.

This expansion will see LeedsBID represent 790 businesses in its third term, and incorporate major new developments around the river, including the Royal Armouries and Aire Park. It aims to capitalise on the city’s riverfront assets, acting as a catalyst for new initiatives which maximise opportunities for the riverside.

The LeedsBID ballot runs 11^th October-7^th November with the ballot results announced on Friday 8^th November 2024.
