Leeds International Festival of Ideas 2022 brought a series of compelling talks and discussions covering such themes as the built environment, what you can laugh about and more.
By introducing the brightest minds to our city, the festival programme aims to challenge our understanding of the world today and deliver an exciting vision of the future.
From September 22 to 25, 12 events were held at the Howard Assembly Room, addressing and discussing significant topics of today. Over 2500 people were welcomed to the city as part of the four day festival.
Keynote talks at LIFI22 included David Olusoga, Mary Beard, Aisling Bea, Kevin McCloud and Yotam Ottolenghi, alongside 6 panel events that brought hot topics to the table for discussion. In an exclusive sold out UK performance that featured as the festival’s kickoff, Jon Hopkins stunned the Howard Assembly Room by starting LIFI22 as part of his Polarity tour.
