Breathing new life into the city as part of the COVID-19 recovery
An exciting and innovative comic art installation project across Leeds city centre featuring a bespoke story themed around the concepts of community and regrowth, created by world-renowned comic artist and Thought Bubble Festival founder, Tula Lotay (aka Lisa Wood).
Consisting of a sequential comic strip narrative divided into eight parts, winding a loop around the city with the artwork showcased at several venues, encouraging comic art fans and the general public to take in the sights and sounds of the city as they make their way around.
“I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to bring beautiful comic art to the centre of Leeds. Community is deep rooted within my work ethic and to be able to create something accessible for anyone to view has made it even more rewarding!”— Tula Lotay
