Lunchtimes are looking up with the imminent arrival of the LeedsBID Summer Roadshow.
This annual event, brought to the city by LeedsBID, aims to entice people out of the office with an array of free activities to liven up the working day.
This year the roadshow is rolling up at three locations, spending three days at each spot with different sets of activities planned daily from wellness sessions, arts and crafts and sport.
It is back at Wellington Place, Sovereign Square and new for 2025, the roadshow will be making a stop in the heart of Leeds South Bank, at Aire Park, located on the paved area in and around Salem Church and The Tetley.
With the aim of encouraging people away from their desks to enjoy the outdoors, the roadshow aims to offer something to appeal to all interests.
From desk detox and yoga which you can do in work clothes and provides a great midday pick-me-up to a breathwork and meditation session designed to help improve focus, reduce stress, and support mental clarity during the workday.
There’s also the chance to attend a nutrition and energy workshop to discover how to fuel your body without relying on caffeine or sugar plus practical nutritious recipes to pack into a busy schedule.
People can also get creative and try their hand at fan painting and linocut printing at lunchtime workshops or for those who prefer to be a little more active, there’s crazy golf and a penalty shootout.
Don’t forget there’s also free Northern Bloc ice creams or Nespresso iced coffees to top off lunchtimes – well worth stepping out of the office for.
