Sound of success rings out in Leeds
The MOBO (Music of Black Origins) Awards came to Leeds not once but twice within a three year period, with the show bringing all the glitz and glamour as well as big names including Ceelo Green, Rita Oro, Cardi B, Stormzy and Idris Elba.
The Audio and Radio Industry Awards (ARIAS) made Leeds their home for three years, after the launch of the star-studded awards ceremony at first direct arena in 2016. Celebrating exceptional individual and collective talent across all audio platforms, the stars were in attendance with household names from the world of radio and pop stars past and present performing.
Hosts The Radio Academy, with the on-going support of LeedsBID, enhanced their presence in the city with the addition of a two-day UK radio and audio industry expo, Segue, which saw the UK radio and audio industry descend on the city while also offering opportunities to the Leeds business community and students.
